Apex Legends ALGS 2022 Playoff Trophies
Following our inaugural ALGS Esports work in 2021, the team at EA and Apex Legends wanted to step up their trophies for their sophomore season. A fresh new design would feature silver and gold chrome set against flat black accents; the ALGS has grown up!
The geometric precision of these pieces made production a real challenge. While it’s easy to hide surface variations on a sculpture brimming with detail, the exact nature of these mirrored surfaces required absolute level construction and very strict machining tolerances. Each trophy measures 18″ tall and is constructed form urethane, rhodium, copper and 24k gold for the Apex logo held aloft at their center. For 2022 we produced a total of 10 copies – one set for the Winter playoffs and another batch of five for Summer.
