Volpin Props is currently looking for a Studio Supervisor as well as new Part-Time Freelance contacts for our upcoming project schedule! Job details are below:
Requirements: 3+ years SFX studio experience. Experience working with a team to complete project deadlines for large industry clients. Portfolio which showcases knowledge of 3D print prep, moldmaking, casting and HVLP paint techniques. Must have familiarity with 3D printing software, FDM and SLA printers. 3D modeling experience not needed though welcome!
Job Responsibilities: You’ll be our lead fabricator, directing our team of replica artists through complex fabrication problems to deliver on our standard of quality to our clients. This job will require management skills in equal amount to innovative artistic solutions. You’ll do as much hands-on creation as creative direction. Some travel may be required if and when we get back into doing installation work for various clients at relevant conventions. 40hr/week position and we make it a steadfast goal to never make our employees work overtime!

Part Time Artist:
Requirements: 1+ years SFX studio experience. Local to Atlanta. Experience working with a team to complete project deadlines for large industry clients. Portfolio which showcases knowledge of 3D print prep, moldmaking and casting. HVLP experience welcome but not required!
Job Responsibilities: General print cleanup, moldmaking, casting, assembly, packaging, painting and weathering on occasion. If your specific skillset leans toward a preferred strength in fabrication (electronic design, sculpting, etc) we’ll call on you often when those needs arise!
Benefits: Competitive industry salary commensurate with skills and experience. Time and a half for any overtime/weekend work needed, though these instances are extremely rare. Possibility for part time employment to lead to a full-time position in the future!
