The Milk Cup

“The Milk Cup” is both the trophy and the title of the largest all-women Fortnite tournament in the world. The Milk Cup was envisioned as the largest female esports competition ever, with a prize pool of over $300,000 and more than 50 teams competing for victory.

The necessity for this project to be designed, modeled, and project-led with an all-female team at Volpin Props was essential to our involvement with the tournament. While not a client-imposed requirement, we felt this helped to continue the spirit of the tournament and it would make our own fabrication process align with the core beliefs and goals of the series. The Milk Cup is one of our most complex assemblies, incorporating brilliant rhodium chrome and color-shifting satin purple/blue/gold paint. It stands at 20″ tall and is comprised of over 30 individual parts. The event plaque showcases a cast carbon fiber inlay on the logo, and team medals were fabricated to match – not only for the winners but also for MVP, Sportsmanship, and player coaches too!
